Typical of the ex-industrial buildings that line the Regent’s Canal, or used to since much of this historic fabric has been demolished and redeveloped, this site was until recently in use as an upholstery company.

Stripped back to the bones & repaired, restored and re-lit, it is already a good space that lends itself to open-plan living; a new bathroom and custom-made additions in the form of kitchen and storage which double as room dividers are more or less all that is required to make it home. All made from robust materials that suit building and purpose, chosen to sit comfortably between a victorian heritage and contemporary living.

Everything else can be moved in, moved around, and taken away when whoever lives here moves on, which is a good way to build a collection of things you love and a model for sustainable design.
